Fränk holds onto his leader’s jersey and 20 second lead ahead of second place Kiriyenka Vasil (Movistar) following the first of two stages on double duty Sunday. Simon Geschke of Skil-Shimano reached the finish line ahead of the rest following a spirited, flat 75 km race Sunday morning. As predicted, the course well-suited to the sprinters ended in a mass sprint. Racing continues with an individual time trial this afternoon to conclude the two-day, three-stage Critérium International.
